Using Phrases to Refine a Search
1. Atlantic Ocean Google searched each of the words you entered separately. You probably got more than a million pages. Looking through even a fraction of these is time consuming and frustrating!
2. "Atlantic Ocean" When you put quotes around Atlantic Ocean, it ensured that the words were searched together as a phrase. You should have gotten fewer "hits," perhaps fewer than one million.
3. "Atlantic Ocean"
"global warming"
Adding the addition of global warming makes the search more specific. Adding an additional limiter removes a lot of results. You should have gotten even fewer and more useful returns .
