Full Text

The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text. Some databases, like SIRS and EBSCOhost, provide entire articles online.

What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?

To find pictures originally published with the article, you usually need to have a PDF option in the database you are using, since PDF takes a picture of the page and includes the graphics. Otherwise you will have to get the print copy from the library or through Interlibrary Loan. There are a few databases, for example EBSCOhost, that provide some full content. Full content includes the article plus any graphs, charts, pictures and text.
