Jean is a graduate of Cuesta's Library Technology program with an A.S. degree in Library Science. She began as a re-entry student in 1992 and started working as a student assistant in the library in April 1993. She was hired as the Serials Technician in November 1995. Jean feels that she has one of the best jobs on campus. Working part-time in Library Technology services, she manages periodicals, newspapers, serials and performs book and magazine repairs. She also works part-time at the Circulation Desk helping students.

Jean lives in Los Osos with her two teenage daughters and various pets. She enjoys kayaking, walking at Montana de Oro, collecting teddy bears and living in this lovely scenic area. Another passion is combing thrift stores and yard sales, finding collectible items to sell on eBay, an electronic auction site.
