Del has been a part-time librarian at Cuesta since 1978. He enjoys working with students and faculty as they fulfill their objectives in using the library.

He has a number of hobbies, chief among them is the reading of a wide range of books. He also enjoys gardening, travel, the Internet, and evaluating websites.
